Jared joined the Construction team at EMC in 2021.
Jared is a 26-year veteran of the NSW construction industry. Prior to the decision to embark on a career as a construction lawyer, he was the sole director of a commercial bricklaying company which undertook and oversaw the delivery of numerous large-scale and complex government and commercial masonry contracts. Jared held this position for 15 years.
Jared’s construction industry experience provides him with a unique understanding of the practical application of law to real world construction matters. Accordingly, Jared is able to quickly ascertain the real core issues in a construction dispute and understand the practical application and impact of contractual requirements at a ‘site level’.
Prior to admission, Jared gained valuable knowledge and experience working as a Paralegal with a reputable North Sydney boutique firm that specialised in construction law.
